Recess: Schools Out is a 2001 English-language Animation Family motion picture written by Paul Germain, Joe Ansolabehere and Jonathan Greenberg. The movie is directed by Chuck Sheetz and produced by Paul Germain, Joe Ansolabehere, Toshio Suzuki and Stephen Swofford under the banner of Walt Disney Pictures in collaboration with Walt Disney Television Animation, Walt Disney Television Animation Digital Production, Sunwoo Animation and Sunwoo Digital International. Recess: schools out features Andrew Lawrence in the lead role along with an ensemble cast including Rickey D shon Collins, Jason Davis, Ashley Johnson, Courtland Mead, Pamela Segall and Dabney Coleman. The screenplay is written by Jonathan Greenberg which is inspired from Recess by Paul Germain Joe Ansolabehere. The music was composed by Denis M. Hannigan. Editing was done by Tony Mizgalski. The movie has a running time of 83 minutes. It was released on 30th August 2001. The Film was successful at box office. Recess: Schools Out was made on a budget of $23 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $44 million. Distribution rights for the movie were acquired by Buena Vista Pictures.
