Ratchakan

A young man with a hot temper and a tendency for vigilante justice meets a woman who falls in love with his anger, while his father tries to change his behavior; he is offered a job on the condition that he controls his temper, and despite being targeted by a rival, he remains calm until he is held hostage and forced to make a difficult choice, leading to a dramatic climax where lives are lost but the couple is ultimately reunited. Ratchakan is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language Action Romance film starring Sushmita Sen, Nagarjuna Akkineni, Girish Karnad, Balasubramaniam S.p., Subhalekha Sudhakar, Chinni Jayanth and Vijay Krishnaraj. Kunjumon Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) K. T. Kunjumon and Francis Joseph. Ratchakan is written by Crazy Mohan and directed by Praveen Gandhi. Gentleman Film International acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Ratchakan was released on 30th October 1997 and takes a screen time of 154 minutes. Ratchakan was made on a budget of ₹18 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Praveen Gandhi. Cinematography was done by Ajayan Vincent and editing by B. Lenin and V. T. Vijayan. The music was composed by Ar Rahman along with A.r.rahman.
