A Las Vegas tycoon creates a race with a grand prize of 2 million dollars, but the competitors face challenges and eventually discover the prize money was stolen, leading them to donate the money raised to charity. Rat Race was Produced by Jerry Zucker, Janet Zucker and Sean Daniel. Rat Race is written by Andy Breckman and directed by Jerry Zucker. Paramount Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Rat Race was released on 30th August 2001 and takes a screen time of 112 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Rat Race was made on a budget of $48 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $85 million. Cinematography was done by Thomas E. Ackerman and editing by Tom Lewis.
