A video game developer's world spirals out of control when his shape-shifting indestructible virtual creation becomes all too real. Ra.One is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language Action Adventure film featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahana Goswami, Atul Sharma and Bex Wood. Red Chillies Entertainment was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gauri Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Karim Morani. Ra.One is written by David Benullo, Kanika Dhillon, Niranjan Iyengar, Shah Rukh Khan, Mushtaq Sheikh and Anubhav Sinha and it is directed by Anubhav Sinha. Red Chillies Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Ra.One was released on 26th October 2011 and takes a screen time of 156 minutes. Ra.One was made on a budget of ₹130 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹113 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Anubhav Sinha, Kanika Dhillon, Mushtaq Shiekh and David Benullo. Cinematography was done by Nicola Pecorini, V. Manikandan and Ewan Mulligan and editing by Sanjay Sharma and Martin Walsh. The music was composed by IIFA Award winner Shekhar Ravjiani along with Vishal Dadlani and Vishal-shekhar. At the 2012 IIFA Awards It won 4 awards including: Best Special Effects (Visual), Best Song Recording, Best Production Design and Best Sound Recording. At the 2012 National Film Awards It also won an award for Best Special Effects.
