A middle-class student named Yogi attends college with a girl named Pooja, who has feelings for Yogi but is seen as just a friend; however, Yogi saves another student named Kajal after a car accident and they fall in love, causing conflict when Yogis father and Poojas father want them to marry each other, leading Yogi to break up with Kajal but later realizing his mistake and reuniting with her, while it is revealed that Pooja and Kajal are sisters, resulting in Kajal sacrificing her love for Poojas happiness, leading to reconciliation and the coming together of the entire family. Rang is a 1993 Hindi-language Drama Romance movie starring Armeena Khan, Bilal Ashraf, Ali Rehman Khan, Hania Amir, Jeetendra Kapoor, Amrita Singh and Rubaina Khan. IRK Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Hareem Farooq, Reham Khan, Munir Hussain and Imran Raza Kazmi. Rang is written by Rumi Jaffery, Talat Jani and Osman Khalid Butt and it is directed by Talat Jani and Azfar Jafri. ARY Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Rang was released on 9th July 1993 in Urdu and Pashto languages and takes a screen time of 133 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Rang was made on a budget of ₹11 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of $300 million. Cinematography was done by Haider A Rizvi and editing by Mitesh Soni. The music was composed by Nadeem Akhtar Saifi along with Taha Malik, Ahmed Ali, Armaan Malik and Salim Sulaiman.
