The movie follows a corrupt LAPD officer as he faces a scandalous departmental controversy, resorting to blackmail and drug use before eventually confessing to his crimes but being refused a pardon and disappearing into the night. Rampart is a 2012 American English-language Crime Drama movie starring Woody Harrelson, Ned Beatty, Ben Foster, Anne Heche, Ice Cube, Cynthia Nixon and Eddie Ruiz. Amalgam Features in association with Waypoint Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ben Foster, Lawrence Inglee, Ken Kao and Clark Peterson. Rampart is written by James Ellroy and Oren Moverman and it is directed by Oren Moverman. Millennium Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the film. Rampart was released on 24th February 2012 and takes a screen time of 108 minutes. Rampart was made on a budget of $12 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. Cinematography was done by Bobby Bukowski and editing by Jay Rabinowitz. The music was composed by Dickon Hinchliffe.
