Ramana

Ramanaa is a film about a professor who uncovers corruption and forms a citizen militia, the Anti-Corruption Force, to seek justice, but ultimately sacrifices himself for the cause and is sentenced to death, leaving behind a constable grappling with guilt. Ramana is a 2002 Indian Telugu-language Comedy motion picture featuring Vijayakanth, Simran, Ashima Bhalla, Vijayan, Yugi Sethu, Riyaz Khan and Mahi. Aascar Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) V. Ravichandran. Ramana is written by A. R. Murugadoss and directed by Siva Nageswara Rao and A. R. Murugadoss. Aascar Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Ramana was released on 22nd February 2002 and takes a screen time of 180 minutes. Cinematography was done by M. S. Prabhu and editing by Suresh Urs. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraja.
