Raja Desingu

Raja Swaroop Singh Bundela ruled Senji faithfully, having both a legitimate son named Tej Singh Bundela and an older illegitimate son named Dawood Khan, but fearing Dawoods ambition, he sent him away with his Muslim concubine Jaan Bibi, while his son Desingu grew up with his friend Mohammed Khan, and eventually Desingu saves his father from imprisonment and marries Ranibai, but tragedy unfolds when Desingu is forced to duel and kill his half-brother Dawood, leading to his own remorseful suicide. Raja Desingu is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language Drama film starring M. G. Ramachandran, S. S. Rajendran, T. S. Balaiah, Bhanumathi Ramakrishna, N.s. Krishnan, Padmini Ramachandran and O.a.k. Thevar. Krishna Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Letchumanan Chettiar. Raja Desingu is written by Kannadasan and Makkalanban and it is directed by T. R. Raghunath. Krishna Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Raja Desingu was released on 26th May 1960 and takes a screen time of 161 mins. Cinematography was done by M. A. Rehman and P. Angamuthu and editing by V. B. Natarajan. The music was composed by G. Ramanathan.
