Raincoat is a 2004 Indian Hindi-language Drama Romance motion picture starring Ajay Devgn, Aishwarya Rai, Annu Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Mouli Ganguly and Gulzar Kalra. The movie is based on The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry. Raincoat was Produced by Shree Venkatesh Films. Raincoat is written by Rituparno Ghosh, O. Henry and Usha Ganguly and it is directed by Rituparno Ghosh. Shree Venkatesh Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Raincoat was released on 24th December 2004 and takes a screen time of 120 minutes. Raincoat was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by Aveek Mukhopadhyay and editing by Arghakamal Mitra. The music was composed by Debajyoti Mishra.
