Rahul

The film Rahul portrays a couple, Mira and Akash, who face a custody battle and their son Rahuls struggle to cope with their divorce, as a warning towards the negative effects of not respecting traditional family values. Rahul is a 2001 Indian Hindi-language Drama Family film featuring Jatin Grewal, Neha Bajpai, Rajeshwari Sachdev, Master Yash, Gulshan Grover, Nina Kulkarni and Yash Gawli. Swastik Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Subhash Ghai and Sudhir Mishra. Rahul is written by Farhan and Anuradha Tiwari and it is directed by Prakash Jha. Mukta Arts acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Rahul was released on 23rd March 2001. Rahul was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹98 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by Anuradha Tiwari. Cinematography was done by Arvind Kumar and editing by Onir. The music was composed by National Award winner Anu Malik.
