Raghu Romeo, a lower-middle-class waiter, misunderstands his role and kidnaps the TV soap heroine Neeta to protect her, only to later find out she is being hunted down for not paying off the entertainment industrys protectors. Raghu Romeo is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Crime motion picture featuring Vijay Raaz, Nishikant Dixit, Sadiya Siddiqui, Maria Goretti, Saurabh Shukla, Veerendra Saxena and Vishwa Bhanu. Swastik Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Naseeruddin Shah and Narayan Hosmane. Raghu Romeo is written by Rajat Kapoor, Sanjeev Sharma and Saurabh Shukla and it is directed by Rajat Kapoor. Star India acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Raghu Romeo was released on 18th June 2004. Raghu Romeo was made on a budget of ₹50 lakh and at the box office it grossed only ₹16 lakh. Cinematography was done by Rafey Mehmood and editing by Suresh Pai. The music was composed by Pritam. At the 2004 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Regional Film (Hindi).
