In the 1970s, a mentally-disabled man named Radio becomes the mascot for a local high school football team, inspiring them despite facing resistance from some parents, and eventually he is further integrated into school activities, experiencing bullying but also support, while his coachs attachment to him leads to controversy and ultimately resignation, but he is honored at graduation with a diploma and jacket. Radio is a 2003 American English-language Biography Drama film featuring Cuba Gooding Jr., Ed Harris, Alfre Woodard, Debra Winger, Cuba Gooding Jr, S. Epatha Merkerson and Bo Fuller. Revolution Studios in association with Tollin/Robbins Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Herb Gains, Brian Robbins and Mike Tollin. Radio is written by Mike Rich and Gary Smith and it is directed by Michael Tollin. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Radio was released on 24th October 2003 and takes a screen time of 109 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Radio was made on a budget of $35 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $53 million. Cinematography was done by Don Burgess and editing by Chris Lebenzon and Harvey Rosenstock. The music was composed by James Horner.
