The movie is based on Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire. Blossom Films in association with OddLot Entertainment. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gigi Pritzker, Nicole Kidman, Per Saari, Leslie Urdang and Dean Vanech. Rabbit Hole is written by David Lindsay Abaire and David Lindsay-abaire and it is directed by John Cameron Mitchell. Lionsgate Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Rabbit Hole was released on 17th February 2011 and takes a screen time of 91 minutes. Rabbit Hole was made on a budget of $5 million and it was a hit at box office gross of $5 million.
