Raanjhanaa is a Bollywood film that depicts a tragic love story between a Hindu Brahmin boy and a Muslim girl and their subsequent attempts at redemption. Raanjhanaa is a 2013 Hindi-language Drama Romance motion picture starring Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Swara Bhaskar, Shilpi Marwaha and Paramjyot Singh. Colour Yellow Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Krishika Lulla and Aanand L. Rai. Raanjhanaa is written by Himanshu Sharma and directed by Aanand L. Rai. Eros International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Raanjhanaa was released on 21st June 2013 and takes a screen time of 146 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Raanjhanaa was made on a budget of ₹36 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹61 crore. Cinematography was done by Natarajan Subramaniam and Vishal Sinha and editing by Amitabh Shukla. The music was composed by Ar Rahman along with A. R. Rahman.
