A news reporter and cameraman documenting a night shift at a fire department respond to an emergency call at an apartment building, where they encounter an aggressive elderly resident, leading to a series of escalating events involving a rabid dog infection, quarantine, and a desperate struggle for survival against the infected. The movie is based on REC by Jaume Balaguer and Paco Plaza. Quarantine was Produced by Sergio Aguero, Doug Davison and Roy Lee. Quarantine is written by John Erick Dowdle, Drew Dowdle, Jaume Balagueró, Luiso Berdejo and Paco Plaza and it is directed by John Erick Dowdle. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the film. Quarantine was released on 27th November 2008 and takes a screen time of 89 minutes. The Film was successful at box office.
