Qila

After the murder of a cruel landowner, his twin brother investigates and suspects his son, abused wife, and a woman who claims to be raped, but eventually his son confesses to accidentally killing his father in self-defense, leading to more suspects including another landowner and even the investigator himself, until it is revealed that the woman killed the landowner for the harm he caused to her brother. Qila is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language Drama Family film starring Dilip Kumar, Mukul Dev, Rekha Ganesan, Mamta Kulkarni, Smita Jaykar, Gulshan Grover and Sahil Chheda. Eagle Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Parvesh Mehra. Qila is written by Anand Raj Anand, Humayun Mirza and Umesh Mehra and it is directed by Umesh Mehra. Eagle Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Qila was released on 10th April 1998. Qila was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by S. Pappu and editing by Kamal Sehgal. The music was composed by Anand Raj Anand along with Raju Singh.
