Pyar Ka Sapna is about two brothers, one of whom loses his sight after falling in love with a married woman, and their lives after the older brother marries the same woman and tries to convince the younger one to undergo surgery to regain his sight. Pyaar Ka Saagar was Produced by Filmrays Productions. Pyaar Ka Saagar is written by Dhruva Chatterjee, Vrajendra Gaur, Devendra Goel, Vishnu Mehrotra, S. Naziruddin, Ehsan Rizvi and S. Nasiruddin Daroghaji and it is directed by Devendra Goel. Geo Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Pyaar Ka Saagar was released on 1st January 1961 and takes a screen time of 150 mins. Editing was done by R.V. Shrikhande. The music was composed by Ravi.
