A pink ball of yarn named Purl feels ignored and isolated at her new job, but decides to change her appearance and personality in order to fit in with her all-white male coworkers; however, she eventually returns to her true self and befriends another neglected ball of yarn named Lacy, leading to a more diverse and inclusive workplace. Purl is a 2019 American English-language Animation Comedy movie starring Bret Parker, Emily Davis, Bret brook Parker, Michael Daley, , Erik Langley and Emily Davies. Pixar Animation Studios was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Gillian Libbert and Gillian Libbert-duncan. The movie is directed by Kristen Lester. Walt Disney Studios acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Purl was released on 12th November 2019 and takes a screen time of 8 minutes.
