A womans suicide sets off a chain of tragic events, as Kathirs friend Vinod also takes his own life after a scandal, leading Kathir to blame DJ for his death, until Kathir meets Meera and their relationship turns dark when he receives invasive videos of her, uncovering Meeras true motives and ending in her suicide, leaving Kathir heartbroken. Puriyatha Puthir is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language Thriller film starring Vijay Sethupathi, Mahima Nambiar, Gayathrie Shankar, Rj Ramesh Thilak, Sonia Deepti, Arjunan and Ranjit Jeyakodi. Rebel Studio was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Deepan Boopathy and Ratesh Velu. The movie is written and directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi.
