A villager named Punjab Singh becomes a gangster in order to seek revenge and justice against a powerful Mafia boss and his corrupt political associates in Amritsar, while his childhood friend, now a police officer, tries to stop him from resorting to vigilantism and encourages him to use legal channels instead.
