A struggling private detective named Amar Apte faces consequences after being caught spying and accused of breach of privacy, leading to complicated situations involving a businessmans mistress, his wifes forgiveness when she reveals she is pregnant, a threatening affair, hallucinations, and Amars eventual confession to his wife about the death of the mistress. Pune-52 is a 2013 Indian Marathi-language Drama Thriller film starring Girish Kulkarni, Sonali Kulkarni, Sai Tamhankar, Bharati Achrekar, Ambar, Alloy Anthony and Shrikant Yadav. Pune-52 was Produced by Umesh Vinayak Kulkarni, Abhay Gadgil, Girish Kulkarni and Shrirang Godbole. Pune-52 is written by Girish Kulkarni and Nikhil Mahajan and it is directed by Nikhil Mahajan. Pune-52 was released on 18th January 2013. Pune-52 was made on a budget of ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by Jeremy Reagan and editing by Abhijit Deshpande. The music was composed by Atif Afzal.
