A college student creates a virus that opens a portal to the realm of the dead, leading to mysterious online messages and the need to flee the city to a safe zone to escape the spirits. Pulse is a 2006 American English-language Horror Sci-Fi movie starring Kristen Bell, Ian Somerhalder, Rick Gonzalez, Samm Levine, Kel O neill, Ron Rifkin and Amanda Tepe. The movie is based on Pulse by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. Distant Horizon was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anant Singh, Brian Cox, Michael Leahy and Joel Soisson. The movie is directed by Jim Sonzero. Dimension Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Pulse was released on 14th September 2006 and takes a screen time of 86 minutes. Pulse was made on a budget of $20 million and at the box office it grossed only $0 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Wes Craven and Ray Wright. Cinematography was done by Mark Plummer and editing by Bob Mori, Robert K. Lambert and Kirk M. Morri. The music was composed by Elia Cmiral.
