Premaloka

A carefree student named Ravi falls in love with a girl named Shashikala, but their relationship is tested when Ravis arranged marriage is announced; however, they overcome obstacles, marry against their parents wishes, and live happily in the countryside. Premaloka is a 1987 Indian Kannada-language Drama Romance movie featuring V. Ravichandran, Juhi Chawla, Vishnuvardhan Kumar, Ambarish, Tiger Prabhakar, Srinath and Kannada Prabhakar. The movie is based on Grease 2 by Ken Finkleman. Premaloka was Produced by V. Ravichandran and N. Veeraswamy. Premaloka is written by V. Ravichandran and Panchu Arunachalam and it is directed by V. Ravichandran. Sri Eswari Productions acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Premaloka was released on 17th February 1987 and takes a screen time of 147-141 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Premaloka was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹15 crore. Cinematography was done by R. Madhusudan and editing by K. Balu. The music was composed by Hamsalekha.
