Prem Rog

It is a story about Manorama, who is forced into an arranged marriage, and her childhood friend, Deodhar, who fights against injustice and challenges traditional beliefs to liberate her and bring about change in society. Prem Rog was Produced by Raj Kapoor, Kolhapure, Shammi Kapoor, Nanda, Tanuja, Sushma Seth, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Raza Murad. Prem Rog is written by Kamna Chandra, Jainendra Jain and K.k. Singh and it is directed by Raj Kapoor. R. K. Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Prem Rog was released on 31st July 1982 and takes a screen time of 172 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Prem Rog was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹13 crore. Cinematography was done by Radhu Karmakar and editing by Raj Kapoor. The music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
