Peter, a conservative man, and Rita, a liberal bartender, switch bodies on their wedding day and with the help of an elderly man named Julius, they find a way to switch back and realize the importance of their relationship. Prelude to a Kiss is a 1992 American English-language Comedy Fantasy film featuring Alec Baldwin, Meg Ryan, Kathy Bates, Ned Beatty, Patty Duke, Sydney Walker and Larry Nazimek. Prelude to a Kiss was Produced by Norman Ren, Craig Lucas, Michael Gruskoff and Michael I. Levy. Prelude to a Kiss is written by Craig Lucas and directed by Norman René and Norman Ren. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Prelude to a Kiss was released on 10th July 1992 and takes a screen time of 105 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $22 million. Cinematography was done by Stefan Czapsky and editing by Stephen A. Rotter. The music was composed by Howard Shore.
