Prasaadam is a Malayalam drama film directed by AB Raj, portraying the story of Shankaran and Sumathis forbidden love, their struggles against societal pressures and deceit, and their pursuit of justice. Prasaadam is a 1976 Indian Malayalam-language Drama movie featuring Prem Nazir, Kpac Lalitha, Adoor Bhasi, Jayabharathi Nair, K.p.a.c. Lalitha, Bahadur and Sreelatha. Teakebees was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) T. K. Balachandran. Prasaadam is written by S. L. Puram Sadanandan and directed by A.b. Raj and A. B. Raj. Teakebees acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Prasaadam was released on 1st April 1976. The screenplay for the movie was written by S. L. Puram Sadanandan. Cinematography was done by Kanniyappan and editing by K. Narayanan. The music was composed by V. Dakshinamoorthy.
