Prasab

The Bengali story Prasab follows the lives of Marxist revolutionaries and their loved ones, focusing on the contrasting paths taken by Amol and Samiran after their involvement in the revolution, highlighting themes of loyalty, sacrifice, personal choices, and the struggles faced by revolutionaries and their families. Prasab is a 1994 Indian Bengali-language Drama motion picture featuring Shiva Rajkumar, Prema, Arjun Chakraborty and Sreela Majumdar. Poornima Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Parvathamma Rajkumar. The movie is directed by Utpalendu Chakrabarty and Upendra. Sri Vajreshwari Combines acquired the distribution rights for the film. Prasab was released on 1st January 1994 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Upendra. Cinematography was done by B. C. Gowrishankar and editing by Shashikumar. The music was composed by Hamsalekha.
