Pralayam is a Malayalam movie about a bank manager who becomes insane after experiencing a traumatic event and his brothers efforts to help him recover. Pralayam is a 1980 Indian Malayalam-language Drama film featuring Prem Nazir, Sukumaran, Sankaradi, Kanakadurga, Vanchiyoor Madhavan Nair, Poojappura Ravi and Jayabharathi Nair. Teakebees was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) T. K. Balachandran. Pralayam is written by Akhilendra Mishra and Sreemoolanagaram Vijayan and it is directed by Sucheta Trivedi and P. Chandrakumar. Evershine acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Pralayam was released on 1st January 1980. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sreemoolanagaram Vijayan. Cinematography was done by Indu and editing by K. Narayanan. The music was composed by Rahil Tandon along with A. T. Ummer.
