An unemployed young man named Hari, aided by his friends, starts a successful bookshop called Periyar Bookshop, but their lives take a turn when a Malaysian businessman claims ownership, leading Hari to uncover a plot involving corrupt officials and a mastermind behind it all, as he takes on a mission to expose the truth and bring them to justice. Pori is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language Thriller Drama film starring Jiiva, Seeman, Sampath Raj, Nagesh, Karunas, T.p. Gajendran and Pooja Umashankar. Nivi-Pavi Creations was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sambandam Karthi. The film is written and directed by Subramaniam Siva. Pori was released on 9th February 2007 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. Cinematography was done by N. K. Ekambaram and editing by Antony. The music was composed by Dhina.
