Porco Rosso

Porco Rosso is an animated film set in 1929 about a cursed Italian fighter ace with a pigs head who works as a bounty hunter defending an ocean liner, but ultimately survives a plane crash, rebuilds his plane with the help of a mechanic and his granddaughter, and has a final duel with an arrogant American pilot while protecting his friends. Porco Rosso is a 1992 Japanese Japanese-language Animation Adventure film featuring Sh Ichir Moriyama, Tokiko Kato, Akemi Okamura, Akio Tsuka, Shûichirô Moriyama, Tokiko Katô and Cary Elwes. The movie is inspired from Hik tei Jidai by Hayao Miyazaki. Studio Ghibli was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Patrick Dempsey and Toshio Suzuki. The movie is directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Toho acquired the distribution rights for the film. Porco Rosso was released on 18th July 1992 and takes a screen time of 94 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of $44 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Hayao Miyazaki. Cinematography was done by Atsushi Okui and editing by Takeshi Seyama.
