Popat is written by Suhas Shirwalkar, Satish Rajwade, Chinmay Mandlekar and Chinmay Kelkar and it is directed by Satish Rajwade. Everest Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Popat was released on 23rd August 2013 and takes a screen time of 160 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Chinmay Kelkar. Cinematography was done by Samalabhasker and editing by Rajesh Rao. The music was composed by Avinash Vishwajeet.
