A man and woman fall in love and have a child, but their traditional views on a womans role in the home and dance competition lead to complications in their relationship which are resolved when they have another child. Gemini Film Circuit was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Padam Kumar, V. Hitesh Jhabak and Meenu Kumar. Podaa Podi is written by Vignesh Shivan and Duncan Telford and it is directed by Vignesh Shivan and Satyam Bellamkonda. Nemichand Jhabak acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Podaa Podi was released on 13th November 2012 and takes a screen time of 125 minutes. Cinematography was done by Duncan Telford, J. Laxman and R. Rathnavelu and editing by Anthony. The music was composed by C Dharan Kumar along with Dharan Kumar.
