Players is written by Nikhat Bhatty, Bhaskar Hazarika, Rohit Jugraj, Sourabh Ratnu and Sudip Sharma and it is directed by Abbas Alibhai Burmawalla, Mastan Alibhai Burmawalla and Abbas-mustan. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Players was released on 5th January 2012 in Hindi and Russian languages and takes a screen time of 163 minutes. Players was made on a budget of ₹55 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹29 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Rohit Jugraj , Sudip Sharma and Sudip Sharma. Cinematography was done by Ravi Yadav and editing by Hussain Burmawala. The music was composed by Pritam Chakraborty along with Sandeep Shirodkar.
