Pirappu

A wealthy couple adopts a young man from a lower caste who faces discrimination and complications within the family, leading to a series of events that challenge the caste system and emphasize the irrelevance of money and social status. Pirappu is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language Drama film featuring Prabha, Karthika Adaikalam, Priya Mohan, ganja Karuppu, Sulakshana Gopikrishnan and Prabhas. SRM Film International was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) H. G. Pramila Ganesh. The film is written and directed by L. V. Ilangovan. Pirappu was released on 1st June 2007 and takes a screen time of 130 minutes. Cinematography was done by Shanky Mahendran and editing by Srinivas P. Babu. The music was composed by Filmfare Award winner Bharathwaj.
