Phoring

A young boy in a struggling town battles with self-perception and hears the voice of God, but when his new teacher opens his mind to new experiences, she disappears, leading him on a journey to Kolkata to find her and highlighting the impact a teacher can have on a young persons life, as well as themes of self-discovery and the search for truth. Phoring is a 2013 Indian Bengali-language Drama film featuring Akash Adhikari, Sohini Sarkar, Sourav Basak, Sankar Debnath, Senjuti Roy Mukherji, Dwijen Bandopadhyay and Dwijen Banerjee. G B C Enterprise was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anasua Roychoudhury, Sugata Bal, Anasua Roychowdhury and Pinaki Shoukalin Ghosh. Phoring is written by Indranil Roychowdhury and Sugata Sinha and it is directed by Indrani Roychowdhury and Indranil Roychowdhury.
