Two unemployed young men enter the realm of the dead after being electrocuted at a Halloween party, where they meet a ghost named Ragini who helps them start a successful business called Phone Bhoot, but they must team up with other spirits to defeat an evil tantrik named Atmaram and free Ragini from captivity during a lunar eclipse, with a promise of continued assistance from Ragini and a deceased king.
