Peninsula is a South Korean film about a Marine captain and his team who return to South Korea to retrieve a truck containing US20 million amidst a zombie outbreak and rogue militia attacks, with the help of the family they initially refused to assist. Peninsula is a 2020 Korean Korean-language Action Horror film featuring Gang Dong-won, Lee Jung-hyun, Kwon Hae-hyo, Kim Min-jae, Koo Kyo-hwan, Kim Do-yoon and Sung Eun Ji. Next Entertainment World in association with RedPeter Films and New Movie. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Lee Dong-ha. Peninsula is written by Yeon Sang-ho and Ryu Yong-jae and it is directed by Yeon Sang-ho. Next Entertainment World acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Peninsula was released on 15th July 2020 and takes a screen time of 116 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Peninsula was made on a budget of $16 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $39 million. Cinematography was done by Lee Hyung-deok and editing by Yang Jin-mo. The music was composed by Mowg.
