Pela Adhi Akshar is a coming-of-age film about four friends navigating their way through life and the blurred lines between reality and fantasy, all while using digital media to showcase different textures of the film. Pela Adhi Akshar is a 2017 American Gujarati-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Paul Rudd, Mark Strong, Sienna Miller, Jeff Daniels, Tom Wilkinson, Giancarlo Giannini and Shakti Sinh Zala. The movie is inspired from The Catcher Was a Spy by Nicholas Dawidoff. Animus Films in association with PalmStar Media, Serena Films and Windy Hill Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Amit Gupta, Borja Campillo, Kunal Shah, Kevin Scott Frakes, Tatiana Kelly, Buddy Patrick and Jim Young. Pela Adhi Akshar is written by Kaushal Shah, Kunal Shah and Sudhish Kamath and it is directed by Kunal Shah and Ben Lewin. IFC Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Pela Adhi Akshar was released on 24th March 2017 and takes a screen time of 98 minutes. The screenplay for the movie was written by Robert Rodat. Cinematography was done by Andrij Parekh and editing by Mark Yoshikawa. The music was composed by Howard Shore.
