Paul Blart is a security guard at a mall who aspires to join the New Jersey State Police but fails the exam due to his hypoglycemia, and after a series of events including training a new hire and becoming acquainted with a vendor, he must rescue hostages from a gang disguised as Santas Village employees and ultimately overpowers their leader with the help of Chief Brooks.
