Pattinathar

A pious couple find a baby boy and give him to a man named Pattinatthar, who rewards them with gold, but the child grows up, goes on a trading trip, and returns with seemingly worthless items that actually contain hidden treasures, causing his father to realize the impermanence of earthly possessions, while Pattinatthar renounces everything and achieves salvation through divine guidance.
