Paththar

After a battle, Private Resham Singh saves Major Balwant Rai, who later gets dishonorably discharged and returns home to a troubled family, and years later, when they cross paths again, Resham seeks to harm Balwants troubled family and Balwant must decide whether to help or stop him, facing the challenges of protecting his family, seeking redemption, and reconciling his past with the present. Paththar is a 1985 Indian Hindi-language Crime motion picture starring Mohanlal, Girija Shettar, Mukesh, Jagadeesh, Nedumudi Venu, Soman and Sharat Saxena. Shirdi Sai Creations was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Pkr Pillai. Paththar is written by Faiz Saleem, Vinay Shukla and Vr Gopalakrishnan and it is directed by Deepak Bahry and Priyadarshan. Shirdi Sai Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Paththar was released on 1st January 1985 and takes a screen time of 179 minutes. Cinematography was done by S. Kumar and editing by N. Gopalakrishnan. The music was composed by Ouseppachan along with Johnson.
