Parudeesa

Parudeesa is a film set in a Catholic parish in Kerala, focusing on the clash between Bishop Aanjalithanam and Priest Jose as they have conflicting beliefs about the teachings of Christ, with Jose facing opposition from within the parish and the larger community as he tries to bring about social change, while Theresia, an unmarried maid from a nearby convent, plays a role in igniting the conflict, and Jagathy Sreekumar plays an influential role as the church committee secretary.
