Renowned scientist Dr. Archisman Roy returns home to express gratitude to Akhilesh Mitra, but his untimely death prevents him from doing so; however, he befriends his daughter Ranja and her artist boyfriend Sombit, and together they uncover the sinister plans of Archis sister and brother-in-law to marry him off for his wealth, leading to Sombits disappearance after being framed for molestation, but ultimately Ranja realizes her familys true intentions and decides to abandon the marriage, reuniting with Sombit and finding a happy ending.
