Parasmani

A lost son raised by a villager becomes a skilled swordsman and singer, falls in love with a princess, catches the attention of the Emperor, who sends him on a quest to find a rare gem, encounters magical creatures and a sorceress who falls in love with him, obtains the gem, and ultimately marries the princess. Parasmani is a 1963 Indian Hindi-language Musical Fantasy motion picture starring Geetanjali, Gitanjali, Mahipal Singh, Nalini Chonkar, Master Maruti, Uma Dutt and Manher Desai. Basant Studio in association with Ranjit Studios and Shreekant Studios. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Pandit Madhur and Bachubhai Mistry. Parasmani is written by Pandit Madhur, C.k. Mast and Vishwanath Pande and it is directed by Babubhai Mistri. Parasmani was released on 8th March 1963. The screenplay for the movie was written by Pandit Madhur and Vishwanath Pande. Cinematography was done by Peter Pereira and editing by Kamlakar Karkhanis. The music was composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal.
