Panchagni

Indira, a Naxal activist on parole, faces a series of challenges during her two-week release, including struggling to find a place to stay, suspecting an affair between her sisters husband and herself, seeking help from a journalist named Rasheed who eventually helps secure her release, but witnessing a rape and seeking justice by shooting the rapist, ultimately surrendering herself to the police. Panchagni is a 1986 Indian Malayalam-language Crime Drama motion picture featuring Nadia Moidu, Thilakan, Mohanlal Viswanathan, Geetha Vasan, Devan Sreenivasan, Nadhiya Moidu and Meghanadhan. Seven Arts Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) G. P. Vijayakumar and M. G. Gopinath. Panchagni is written by M.t. Vasudevan Nair and M. T. Vasudevan Nair and it is directed by T. Hariharan. Seven Arts Release acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Panchagni was released on 5th July 1986 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. Cinematography was done by Shaji N. Karun and editing by M. S. Mani. The music was composed by Bombay Ravi along with Pukazhenthi.
