The film depicts the 1967 clashes between Indian and Chinese troops in Nathu La and Cho La, where Indian soldiers emerged victorious after defeating the Chinese forces. Paltan is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama movie featuring Jackie Shroff, Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane, Siddhanth Kapoor and Kshitej Singh. The movie is inspired from Nathu La and Cho La clashes. J P Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) J.p. Dutta. The movie is directed by J.p. Dutta. Zee Studios acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Paltan was released on 6th September 2018 and takes a screen time of 154 minutes. Paltan was made on a budget of ₹35 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹7 crore. Cinematography was done by Shailesh AV Awasthhi Nigam Bomzan and editing by Ballu Saluja. The music was composed by National Award winner Anu Malik along with Sanjoy Chowdhury.
