Painted Skin: The Resurrection is a 2012 Chinese Mandarin-language Fantasy Mystery film featuring Zhao Wei, Chen Kun, Zhou Xun, Yang Mi, Feng Shaofeng, Fei Xiang and Zaikeyaguli Alimu. Ningxia Film Studio in association with Dinglongda International Culture Media Co., Ltd., Huayi Brothers and Qi Lin Ying Ye. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Pang Hong, Wang Zhonglei and Chen Kuo-fu. Painted Skin: The Resurrection is written by Shi-tian Shen-fang, Ran Ping and Ran Jia nan and it is directed by Wuershan and Wu Ershan. Painted Skin: The Resurrection was released on 5th July 2012 and takes a screen time of 120 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Painted Skin: The Resurrection was made on a budget of ¥150 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of ¥726 million. Cinematography was done by Arthur Wong. The music was composed by Katsunori Ishida.
