A college student named Dev falls in love with Rimi, a girl who is studying in the US, but has to overcome several obstacles to be with her including a rival named Ronnie and Rimis senator father. Paglu is a 2011 Indian Bengali-language Romance Drama motion picture featuring Koel Mallick, Rajatava Dutta, Rajatabha Dutta, Tulika Basu, Pradip Dhar, Parthasarathi Chakraborty and Md Abdul Gony Rafid. Surinder Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Nispal Singh. Paglu is written by Debdasu, N.k. Salil and Nk Salil and it is directed by Rajib Biswas and Rajiv Kumar Biswas. Shree Venkatesh Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Paglu was released on 3rd June 2011 and takes a screen time of 158 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Paglu was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹9 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by N.K. Salil. Cinematography was done by Kumud Verma and editing by Rabiranjan Maitra and Aninda Chattopadhyay. The music was composed by Jeet Ganguly along with Jeet Gannguli.
