After her husbands death, Sandhya deals with her grieving in-laws while remaining emotionally detached, possibly due to PTSD, and with the support of her best friend, she confronts another woman in her husbands belongings and discovers he was in a long-term relationship with her, resulting in her familys anger when they learn she inherited a substantial insurance policy, but Sandhya decides to start anew and become financially independent. Pagglait is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama movie starring Sanya Malhotra, Shruti Sharma, Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, Rajesh Tailang, Nakul Roshan Sahdev and Vikas Rai. Pagglait was Produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, Guneet Monga and Achin Jain. The movie is written and directed by Umesh Bist. Netflix acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Pagglait was released on 26th March 2021. Cinematography was done by Rafey Mahmood and editing by Prerna Saigal. The music was composed by Arijit Singh.
