Pacific Rim

In a world where giant alien creatures known as Kaiju attack humanity, a group of mentally linked pilots operate massive robots called Jaegers to defend coastal cities, but when funding for the program is cut and defense walls fail, a team led by Marshal Pentecost plans to destroy the interdimensional portal from which the Kaiju emerge, facing various obstacles before successfully defeating them and saving humanity with the sacrifice of Pentecosts life. Pacific Rim is a 2013 American English-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, Rob Kazinsky, Max Martini and Kyle Warren. Pacific Rim was Produced by Mary Parent, Thomas Tull, Guillermo Del Toro and Jon Jashni. Pacific Rim is written by Travis Beacham and Guillermo Del Toro and it is directed by Guillermo Del Toro. Warner Bros. Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Pacific Rim was released on 12th July 2013 and takes a screen time of 132 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Pacific Rim was made on a budget of $190 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $411 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Travis Beacham and Guillermo del Toro. Cinematography was done by Guillermo Navarro and editing by John Gilroy and Peter Amundson. The music was composed by Ramin Djawadi.
